a flower I'm not familiar with...
it was growing all over the resort I was at this weekend.

edited: thanks to Greenfingers, I now know it's an Erythronium,
probably the Erythronium oregonum, or Fawn Lily.

  1. Lovely flower- the texture, darkening the edges, puts the emphasis on the plant. BTW I think it is an Erythronium (Dog's Tooth Violet. I'd love to see them growing in the wild.
